Béns d’Avall – Sóller

This Michelin-starred eatery on the northwestern coast overlooks the Mediterranean Sea from a height. Béns d’Avall serves local, seasonal products in the style of creative cuisine rooted in Mallorcan heritage and Balearic flavour. It also boasts a green Michelin Green Star for sustainable practices. The tasting menu presents original concepts such as “coast to coast”: a savoury choux filled with sheep’s yogurt, pickled cucumber, citronella, lime, mint and sea urchin conserve with olive oil. Patiki Beach – Port de Sóller

At the far end of the crescent beach, you’ll find this swish beach shack serving simple food with a big impact. The colourful seasonal menu is made for sharing: Mallorcan-inspired salads, local cheese platters, Sóller prawns sautéed with chimichurri and coriander aioli, fish of the day… There is plenty to enjoy and admire at this beachfront restaurant as the sky glows pink and the sun melts into the sea.

Mhares Beach Club – Llucmajor

This beach club southeast of Palma is a great place to spend the day on the sunloungers by the pool or at the restaurant by evening, or both. For a sunset spectacle, admire the changing colours of the sky over dinner. Contemporary Mediterranean-Japanese dishes include everything from bluefin tuna sashimi and oysters to Wagyu rib slow-cooked and lobster with chips and fried egg.
